We are now in Spring!!! and in Science, we are studying plants, and we planted some seeds to observe and learn how a plant grows. Plants need 5 elements: soil, water, sunlight, warmth and air!

We also studied the parts of a plant: roots, stem, branches, twigs, leaves, flowers and fruit.
We decorated the windows of our classroom with some beautiful flowers, everybody participated!!

Primary Year 2: SCIENCE - My Body

Hello everybody!! Today, in our Science class, we have been learning the parts of our body in a fun way! Carlota was our volunteer for the teacher to trace her body around in a big poster. All students received one card which they matched to the part of the body it represented. Then, we worked on our notebooks to complete the gaps on the worksheet. We revised a lot of vocabulary and learned the names of the joints: shoulder / elbow / wrist / hip / knee / ankle. Thanks everybody!!

3º: SCIENCE_ARTS_THE SOLAR SYSTEM

We are discovering many things about the Solar System in Science and we also created our special Solar system in our Arts class. Look at our beautiful creation: the Sun, Mercury, Venus, the Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Pluto is no longer considered a planet as it is now classified as a "dwarf planet". Science can be fun :-) and when we work together, we learn even more!
