Also, we have listened to this funny story about the Magic E: when it appears at the end of a word, it gives all its power to the other vowel, which becomes stronger and says its NAME instead of its short sound:

Primary Year 2: THE GINGERBREAD MAN

We read the story THE GINGERBREAD MAN in class, and we revised vocabulary about food, animals and the house. Children participated in the role-play with the characters in the story:

Narrators, the Gingerbread man, the old man, the old woman, the pig, the cow, the horse, the fox.

"Run, run, as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread man!!! "

• Primary Year 2: collage made with pictures with our Christmas cards on our Christmas tree and the game we played in class to practise clothes: Santa Claus is cold!

• Children from Infants 5 sang the song "Oh Christmas Tree" and we made a Christmas card to take home.

 

• Children from Infants 4 sang this song today at school: I'M A LITTLE SNOWMAN. We also made a special snowman to put on our Christmas tree at home: OLAF from Frozen!

Primary Year 2: SCIENCE: 5 senses

We have been learning things about our 5 senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. With my eyes, I can see. With my ears, I can hear. With my nose, I can smell. With my tongue, I can taste. INFANTS 5: MY FACE

HAPPY EASTER!! Infants 4 have prepared a lovely Easter card with a little chick to wish all their families a Happy Easter. We have also listenend to this song in class and we enjoyed ourselves playing some games together.

INFANTS_SONG: OLD MACDONALD HAD A FARM

Infants 4 are learning the animals who live on the farm: cow, horse, sheep, dog, cat, pig, rabbit, chicken (hen), bird, duck, goose. To make it more fun, we have sung together the famous song Old MacDonald had a farm.
